 Below is the final draft of my magazine, Growing Gourmet. I believe the magazine has evolved throughout this process. The feature article especially has changed drastically even from the first draft to the final daft. I am very please with the end product I have produced. 

 This week I arranged the images on the feature article to flow with the text. I keep the pictures on the same page they were for my first draft. The image of the egg rolls remained the same size and in the same place. I moved the image of the outside of the restaurant to fit with the text better. On the second page of the feature article I moved the image of the egg rolls ready to be fried to the top of the page as well as enlarged the image. Its respective caption is located to the right of it. The picture of the egg roll cores is now in the center of the page surrounded by the text. I also added a drop shadow effect to all four images. I feel this makes them have a greater presence on the page. They even add sense of dimension to the page. During my peer review, it was suggested that I make the Top Secret stamp the entire length of the page. The stamp is now spans the length of the entire page and also overlaps the images.  One of the big points I took from the peer review was to look at the text of my feature article and revise it. Looking at other magazines presented in class I noticed how they had their text split into multiple columns. I had my text in one column, giving it more of a essay or book feel. I have since split the text into two columns on both pages of the feature article. I like the look of this much better and I feel that it gives the article more of  a professional feel when one is reading it. I also added a quote from the interview I conducted. I made this text bigger and bolder than the rest of the text to make it stand out more. I picked up this idea from a GQ magazine featuring Travis Scott. The quote is a nice touch to tie together the article. Next I am going to rearrange the pictures to flow with the text. Although this means the layout will not follow the original story board, I believe that after I play around with the layout it will look much more appealing to the ey...

       I presented my magazine to my peers in class and received some very helpful and constructive feedback.  My peers gave me insight on things aspects of the magazine that looked professional such as my mast head and my selling line. Tying these two aspects together through the very similar fonts made them go together  seamlessly on the cover page. I received the most positive  feedback  on my cover page and my  contents  page. My peers loved the layout  and flow of both pages. They especially liked how I formatted my contents page with the map of Thailand and the flag as the background.  Using the picture of the dark wood behind the cover image help accent uate and draw focus to the cover image.  I was already aware my feature article was not as good and as professional as it could  be,  and  the peer review  confirmed my previous  concerns.  I received suggestions such as looking at how r...
